I was given this book from a very spiritual friend who I thought wouldn't need it. She helped me understand we all need help with listening to the Holy Spirit more. I'm so glad that this book stated the path for me to not just pray, but take time to hear a response. The Lord wants our conversation. So happy this book helped me begin that practice

I completed a few chapters- following directions with journaling. I wrote in a 5X7 spiral notebook to allow for more space than in the book. Writing down what I sense the Lord is saying to me, really gives me more ability to focus and hear Him. I read a chapter, pray for the Lord to speak to me, and then trust that what I am hearing or sensing in my heart is from Him. Often, when I read what I had written on another day, I am just so amazed at what God had said to me- personally to me. . The gift of writing it down, is that I can go back to it- which is helpful in growing in my relationship with the Lord.

This is a very helpful book in learning how to listen as I pray to hear God's word. I feel a little more understanding of missionary work and am sure this will guide me in my upcoming adventure.

Easy read, to help you draw closer to Christ and motivates you to read the good word. Would recommend to friends
